Four times larger Voice Contact Center in Łódź

Voice Contact Center increases the number of work positions in Łódź. At the moment the company employs 550 consultants in two operation centres (Łódź and Warsaw) and does not exclude further development of call centre resources.

Voice Contact Center operational centre in Łódź was established in May 2011. It is second – after Warsaw – location of the company. At the beginning the branch had 50 work stations. In two and half years the potential of Łódź location of the Voice Contact Center has been steadily increasing. After the last change, when the infrastructure was extended by further 48 work stations, now their total number reaches 200. Thus Łódź centre of OEX Group company is four times that large as it was at the beginning.

The extension of the branch resulted from significant widening of the scope of projects executed so far and also gaining new customers. Łodź operation centre of the Voice Contact Center deals with telemarketing campaigns, among others, in telesales, call-centre service, arranging meetings as well as debt collections, mainly for telecommunication and financial companies. Consultants handle more than million of phone calls a month.

The investment is accompanied by increased recruitment scale thanks to which the Voice Contact Center has became one of more active employers in the local labour market. OEX Group company participates among others in the program “The Young in Łódź” encouraging young people to tie their professional carrier with the city. It also cooperates with career agencies of leading Łódź universities.

The location of the Voice Contact Center in Łódź has a large development potential. One of its biggest advantages is the access to an extensive database of potential employees with relevant qualifications, work-motivated, with high regard for employment stability. In the case of call centre companies which every day struggle with high rotation of consultants, it is one of key factors influencing the success of the business.

Increasing potential of the Voice Contact Center most of all means the development opportunity for current members of the team. On one hand it results in more diversified employment offer, on the other hand it creates larger promotion potential within the scope of internal recruitments. Significant number of employees who started the career in the company as telemarketers work at the moment as leaders, coaches or specialists. Also, the opportunities of taking over managerial positions are open to them.

Łódź, thanks to an attractive offer for entrepreneurs, became important BPO centre in Poland. It is one of the reasons that influenced the decision on selecting the location of the second Voice Contact Center operational centre in that city. Currently, we are finalizing negotiations on new projects; therefore, we do not exclude the possibility to extend our call centre resources also beyond Warsaw and Łódź – said Adam Kotrych, President of Board Voice Contact Center of OEX Group.

Łódź branch of the Voice Contact Center is located in the revitalised complex – Muehle Brothers Spinning Mill. The operational space is equipped in among others access control and CCTV surveillance. The quality of applied security measures and safety of processed information were positively verified by independent audits carried out by our customers operating in telecommunication and insurance sectors. IT infrastructure used by the company relies on terminal-based environment and VMware (making virtual operational systems available), which allows for remote access to current resources located in the Voice Contact Center headquarters in Warsaw.

In the mid of November 2013 the company participated in “Polish Call Center Market 2014 – 2020” discussion panel during European Economic Forum in Łódź. Issues related to Poland‘s potential as a regional HR centre for Middle and East Europe with regard to call/contact centre services were discussed among others during the meeting.
